Welcome to The Christian Vegan!

I am a Christian and a Vegan.

My motivation for writing this blog is my desire to motivate other Christians to leave cruelty behind and embrace compassion. To become more Christ-like. If we ask ourselves WWJD, before we act, we make the world a better place.

When I saw the conditions farmed animals are forced to endure, and the torture inflicted upon them to satisfy the lust of the flesh, the gluttony of the gut, and the hardness of heart, I turned from it.  I felt a huge darkness leave me, I felt cleaner.  I am not saying it is a sin to eat animals, but it is a sin to support the torture and abuse of them.  

I will establish immediately that God did give permission to eat animals the day he placed the fear of man in them, that was the day Noah stepped off the ark, it was not so at creation.

I find some of the greatest resistance to veganism,
 from other Christians. Why?
Brainwashing by the media i suppose :(
The bible does not force anyone to eat the flesh of animals.

Ultimately the plan of God is for us to be vegan. Don't take my word for it, read genesis 1:29-31
I ask a simple question, 
"What would Jesus do?"

Do you truly believe He would condone whats going on?

Some Christians seem to think living in the way described after "The Fall" is somehow better than the way God intended us to live.

I can't get my head around it.

And God said,  Behold, I have given you every herb producing seed that is on the whole earth, and every tree in which is the fruit of a tree producing seed: it shall be food for you;  30and to every animal of the earth, and to every fowl of the heavens, and to everything that creepeth on the earth,in which is a living soul, every green herb for food. And it was so. 31And God saw everything that he had made, and behold it was very good.
